El filósofo-arquitecto o el arquitecto-filósofo que fue Alberto T. Arai constituye un egregio ejemplo de preocupación por razonar y construir, por escribir y edificar, y por proponer miradas alternativas de acuerdo con el espíritu de su tiempo. Guiado, sin duda, por una especie de “razón cordial”, supo perfectamente equilibrar sus polifacéticas reflexiones y hacerlas siempre constructivas en una ardua búsqueda por descifrar el pasado, el presente y el posible futuro de un país entonces en construcción, y pletórico de esperanzas por alcanzar una realidad mejor en todos los niveles sociales.
